Australian Distilled Spirit Awards 2020

2020 Was a very difficult year for distilleries and the general public over all COVID-19 was rampant worldwide.

We decided to enter our Citrus Explosion Gin in the ADSA (Australian Distilled Spirits Awards) in VIC.

We were awarded a Bronze medal for this very popular Gin.

London Spirit Competition 2020

Late 2019 the London Spirits Competition was open to entries. We had never entered an International Competition before. We decided to enter our signature Valley Gin and our pure Tamar Vodka to see how they stood up in an International competition. In July 2020, the judging got under way. Imagine our surprise when we received a Silver Medal for both products

Australian Gin Awards 2020

Early 2020, the next Australian Gin Awards were open to entries. We decided to enter a new product, our Port Barrel Aged Gin. This Gin had yet to be released to the public.

COVID-19 played havoc with the awards and subsequently Ginpalooza. Instead of the awards night being held with dinner and award show, it was decided to hold the awards ceremony in a virtual setting.

Once again, we were pleasantly surprised with our Bronze medal in the Mature Gin category

Australian Gin Awards November 2019

Mid 2019, the next Australian Gin Awards were open to entries. We decided this year to enter one of our new products, the Blueberry Gin. This was a new release and the feedback was very favourable so we thought why not. Again, we were quietly optimistic of a medal win.

We received a phone call in October 2019, telling us that our Blueberry Gin had taken out the Trophy for Best In Class - Flavoured Gin. We were advised that if we didn't already have tickets to the Gala Dinner, that we needed to book. November 21st was a night we won't forget in a long time.

Australian Gin Awards Feb 2019

In November 2018, we entered our first product into the Inaugural Australian Gin Awards. We didn't expect to win any major medals but we were hoping for at least a Bronze for our first ever product that we produced. Come judging in Feb 2019 and we won a Gold Medal in the Contemporary class, not bad for a micro distillery in the North of Tasmania

Tasting Australia Spirit Awards

In January 2019, we entered our Navy Strength Gin in the Tasting Australia Spirit Awards in South Australia. Again, we weren't expecting a trophy but we knew we had a good product. Our Navy Strength Gin won Bronze.
